Ideas for sustainable enterprises

Posted by: Collingwood College

As a new Enterprise Club, we would welcome any ideas that would help us set up a sustainable business or project within our school or local community.

Any ideas welcome!

Well done for setting up an Enterprise Club - I hope you’ll find it an inspiring experience.

If you want to set up a business that makes a positive impact in the local community then take a look around the school and see if there is something that you have that is missing from the local area which you could make available.

You’ll find lots of ideas for social and sustainable businesses at the Social Enterprise London website, www.sel.org.uk.

If you can create something which really adds value to the school and the community then I’d encourage you to recruit students from younger years to get involved so that it is more likely to continue into the next school year and beyond.

How about fruit smoothies made from locally grown organic fruit?

You could sell these to teachers and students at your college and other people in the community.

If you need any help or advice let me know.
